What is Touring Scotland?
I am a fully qualified "Blue Badge" driver guide, and specialise in private, tailor-made escorted tours for discerning visitors. I provide comfortable, spacious people carriers which are air-conditioned and seat up to six passengers but I can organise tours for larger groups if required.I have passed the Advanced Driving Test and have been accepted as a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, a qualification which is proof of excellence in driving.
My aim is to combine an intimate knowledge of the best places to visit with extensive knowledge of the history and heritage of Scotland. But I am also keen to tailor the tour to suit your interests around the time you have available. Should this involve heading away from the beaten track and introducing you to the wide open spaces of our beautiful country, so much the better!
I do half-day, full-day and extended tours in English and/or French and can arrange accommodation - I have a comprehensive list of providers, from charming bed and breakfasts to 5-star hotels or serviced Edinburgh and Glasgow accommodation. I will also introduce you to some wonderful restaurants, bistros and bars where you can sample our fabulous Scottish fare!
Based in Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, with easy and fast access to both Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport and Rosyth Ferry Terminal, Touring Scotland can meet our visitors on their arrival in Scotland, by air, sea or rail.
